    Overview

    The CDL OTR Driver for Dedicated Route ORD/LAX/DFW is responsible for transporting goods across long distances while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. The driver will operate a commercial vehicle on a dedicated route, providing timely and efficient delivery services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.\n\nPay - .55 Cpm\nOn Duty / Non Driving Hourly - $30/hr

    Key Responsibilities

    • Transport goods safely and efficiently over long distances
    • Adhere to all federal and state regulations regarding transportation
    • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
    • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs
    • Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules
    • Handle cargo loading and unloading as needed
    • Ensure timely delivery while maintaining a high standard of safety
    • Report any issues or concerns with the vehicle or cargo immediately

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of 2 years of OTR driving experience
    • Clean driving record with no major violations
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
    • Availability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed

    Skills

    Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
    In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
    Strong time management and organizational skills
    Exceptional driving skills with a focus on safety
    Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and GPS systems
    Ability to handle cargo securely and efficiently
