    Overview

    The CDL OTR Driver for Dedicated Route ORD/LAX/MCO/NJC is responsible for transporting goods across long distances while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. The driver will operate a commercial vehicle on a dedicated route, providing timely and efficient delivery services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. \n\nPay - .55 Cpm On Duty \nNon Driving Hourly - $30/hr

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
    • Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving laws and regulations
    • Maintain accurate records of cargo delivery, mileage, and hours of service
    • Communicate with dispatch regularly to provide updates on status and any issues
    • Coordinate the loading and unloading of freight, ensuring secure transport
    • Report vehicle maintenance needs and any accidents or incidents immediately
    • Provide superior customer service during interactions and while on delivery

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Valid CDL Class A license
    • Minimum two years of OTR driving experience
    • Clean driving record with no major violations
    • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings

    Skills

    Valid Class A CDL with minimum two years of OTR driving experience
    Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
    Excellent navigation skills with the ability to utilize GPS technology
    Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
    Strong communication skills for effective coordination with dispatch and clients
    Ability to manage time efficiently and adhere to delivery schedules
    Experience with cargo securement and loading/unloading procedures
    Ability to operate various types of freight transport equipment
