    Overview

    We are seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join our dynamic logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to transport materials and products within the warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading processes. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials and products
    • Conduct daily inspections of forklifts to ensure optimal performance and safety
    • Accurately track and record inventory movement and locations
    • Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse layout for efficiency
    • Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow and improve processes
    • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and accidents
    • Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to supervisors in a timely manner

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks

    Skills

    Proficient in operating different types of forklifts, including counterbalance, reach, and pallet jacks
    Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and regulations
    Ability to perform routine maintenance and inspections on forklifts
    Excellent spatial awareness and ability to navigate through tight spaces
    Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors
    Basic math skills for inventory management and order verification
    Capability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
