    Overview

    The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the unloading of containers, ensuring accurate yard checks, and maintaining effective communication with warehouse staff and upper management. This role plays a crucial part in optimizing operations, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate the unloading of containers in a timely and safe manner.
    • Conduct yard checks to ensure accuracy and organization of inventory.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding daily operations.
    • Train and mentor staff on best practices for receiving and inventory management.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or issues to management.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate records of receipt and inventory data.
    • Ensure all Containers and receivables are unloaded verified and received and put away
    • Ensure all Lot # and Expirations are inputted correctly.

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • At least 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
    • Proven experience in a supervisory role
    • Familiarity with container unloading processes
    • Receiving Experience 3+ Years.
