    Dimensions & Weight (Packaged)

    - **Storage Size/Dimensions**: Minimum 100 square feet, with a floor area of 10 feet x 10 feet. Height clearance: 8 feet. A dedicated area of 6ft x 8ft is recommended for each furnace. - **Storage Conditions**: Dry storage is essential. The area must be well-ventilated to prevent dust accumulation and potential moisture buildup. The floor should be level and covered with a durable, easily cleanable material like concrete or epoxy. Avoid areas prone to flooding or water leaks. - **Special Handling**: Oil furnaces are heavy and potentially fragile. Each unit should be stored on a pallet or a sturdy wooden platform. Padding with foam or cardboard should be used to protect the unit during storage and movement. Forklift operators must exercise caution. - **Stacking/Shelving**: Pallet storage is the most practical solution. Shelving units with a maximum height of 6 feet are acceptable if designed for heavy loads. Ensure shelves are adequately supported to prevent collapse. Stacking should be limited to two pallets high for safety. - **Access Requirements**: A loading dock with a minimum width of 12 feet and a door opening of 10 feet is required for forklift access. A clearance of 10 feet on either side of the storage area is needed for maneuverability. A ramp with a gradient of no more than 1:12 is recommended.
