Chiwan container terminal in Shenzhen operates 9 berths with a total quay length of approximately 3,400 meters and an annual handling capacity exceeding 5 million TEUs. The terminal features advanced automation, including remote-controlled RTG cranes and automated stacking systems. Major operators include Chiwan Container Terminal Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Nanshan Development, and Shenzhen Kaifeng Container Terminal Co., Ltd., a Sino-foreign joint venture.
