Eregli, also known as Karadeniz Ereğli or Erdemir Port, is located on Turkey’s western Black Sea coast in Zonguldak Province, about 25 km from Zonguldak city. It is a significant bulk-handling port, ranking among the key industrial ports in the region. Strategically important for Turkey’s steel and coal industries, Eregli serves as a major export gateway and is closely linked to the national rail and road networks. The port handles approximately 140,000 TEU annually, with an overall cargo capacity of up to 20 million metric tons.

Eregli Port, also known as Erdemir Port, features two major bulk terminals and four general cargo docks, primarily handling bulk cargo such as coal and iron ore.
