Liverpool’s container terminals comprise Royal Seaforth Container Terminal and Liverpool2. Together, they offer 4 main berths and a total annual capacity of approximately 1.5 million TEU. Liverpool2 features semi-automated operations, including automated stacking cranes and advanced gate systems. Major operator Peel Ports manages both terminals. Liverpool2 can handle two large vessels simultaneously and is equipped for the latest generation of container ships.
