The port also offers deep-water berths, a city-centre marina with over 600 meters of berthing, and pilotage services. Automated guided vehicles (AGVs) are not currently in use.

Londonderry’s Foyle Port container terminal at Lisahally features a single deep-water quay with 440 meters of berth, accommodating vessels up to 65,000 DWT and 215 meters in length. The port primarily handles bulk cargo, with limited container operations and no advanced automation. Operations are managed by Foyle Port, offering in-house stevedoring and cargo handling services. The terminal is not highly automated, relying on skilled personnel and modern mobile equipment.
