Port Overview

Tainan is located on the southwest coast of Taiwan, facing the Taiwan Strait. Tainan’s container terminal at Anping Port features 2 dedicated container berths (berths 8 and 9), with a distribution center capacity for over 200 refrigerated and 100 dry containers. The automation level is basic, with standard handling equipment and limited advanced automation. Major operator is Earnest Free Trade & Container Terminal Corp. The facility is smaller than Taiwan’s main ports and primarily serves regional container traffic.
