Taipei Port has 16 container berths and a total annual handling capacity of around 4 million TEU. The port features modern, semi-automated container terminals with advanced gate and yard systems, though it is not fully automated. Major operators include Taipei Port Container Terminal Corp (TPCT) and Evergreen Marine. The port is designed to serve as a key logistics hub for northern Taiwan, offering efficient, large-scale container handling and intermodal connectivity.
