The port is equipped with 54 Super Post Panamax quay cranes, 180 rubber-tyred gantry cranes, and 350 prime movers. Advanced cargo facilities support efficient transshipment, and the port’s integrated design enables rapid vessel turnaround and high productivity.

    Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia’s main container terminal, has 14 berths with a total annual capacity of 12.5 million TEU. The terminal features high automation with advanced IT systems and is equipped with over 58 Super Post-Panamax cranes. Major operators include a joint venture between APM Terminals and MMC Group. The port is recognized for its efficiency, deepwater access, and ongoing expansion to increase capacity and automation.
