The port operates high-performance ship-to-shore cranes, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), and multipurpose berths accommodating ultra-large vessels. Valenciaport’s infrastructure includes over 14 km of berths, deep-water access, and integrated rail and road connections, ensuring efficient multimodal logistics and strong connectivity to European and global markets.

Valencia Port operates multiple specialized container terminals with a current capacity of 5.4 million TEUs annually, expanding to 10 million TEUs with a new terminal under construction. The port features approximately 14.5 kilometers of total berth length with depths ranging from 12-20 meters, accommodating ultra-large container vessels. The terminals utilize modern automated container handling equipment including advanced ship-to-shore crane systems. Major operators include APM Terminals and Noatum, with facilities equipped with sophisticated vessel management technologies and automated tracking systems.

The port features 12 km of quay length with 300 acres of storage area. It serves over 30 shipping companies and maintains direct connections with numerous global ports. The facility spans three locations—Valencia, Sagunto, and Gandía—along an 80 km coastal stretch.

A new container terminal expansion is planned for completion by 2030.
