Tom Yu

With over 20 years of experience in software development, I am currently the Chief Technology Officer at ITEM.com, a pioneering company in the logistics and warehouse management software industry. As a co-founder, I played a pivotal role in establishing ITEM.com and previously, Cyclelution and InfoPartner, where we set new benchmarks in the electronics recycling and repair sectors, respectively.

At Cyclelution, I led the creation of a leading SaaS platform that captured a 60% market share in the U.S. electronics recycling industry since 2008. Following that, I founded InfoPartner, developing a comprehensive suite of software for the electronics repair industry, servicing nearly all top TV brands, including Vizio, AOC, Sharp, Sony, and Western House.

In 2018, I co-founded ITEM.com with the mission to develop a comprehensive SaaS solution for the logistics industry, covering sea and air freight, customs brokerage, land transportation, courier services, warehousing, fulfillment, return management, as well as payment and collection processes. Today, ITEM.com supports the operations of over 1,000 clients, including numerous Fortune 500 companies.

As CTO, I lead a talented team of engineers and developers to design, build, and maintain scalable solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, security, and performance. I am dedicated to solving complex challenges, creating value for our customers, and fostering a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive culture within our organization. My aim is to leverage my extensive experience and technical skills to continue driving ITEM's growth and innovation in the logistics and warehouse management industry.
